RIVERS EDGE
River’s Edge is your premier venue in the northwest. A beautiful twenty acre property running along the Coast Fork of the Willamette River. You will find several options for ceremony sites. You can hold your ceremony next to the river, on the grounds overlooking the river, on the hill, or in the beautiful white Bavarian gazebo. After your ceremony, hold your reception in the large 30’ x 50’ white tent (with or with out the sides, your choice). Between the tent and the swimming pool is a large 40’ x 20’ dance floor. If you decide to also have your rehearsal dinner at River’s Edge, the pool is available for three hours use as a part of your dinner.
When you tour River’s Edge, you will find the grounds to be beautiful, starting with the raised flower garden just outside the tent and a multitude of trees and shrubs throughout the grounds. At the end of the flower gardens, look for the wedding arch, with the cute wooden bride and groom bears peeking at you. Other fun yard decorations include a large swing for two, with a white islet pillow seat and flowers on the golden ropes. A three tear fountain, with the water babbling from leaf to leaf. Take a walk down the rustic steps leading to the river, which is a wonderful place for pictures. Follow the trail that runs the length of the 20 acres where you will find several spots ideal for photo opportunities. About halfway down the trail is a sandy beach with shells, don’t miss it.
Another beautiful area is the ten foot high pagoda. This is covered with purple and white Wisteria flowers that bloom in early June and mid August. The underside of the pagoda is illuminated with hundreds of twinkling lights and there is a small pond with waterfalls, fountain, and stone angels spilling water into the pond.
The area surrounding the gazebo and tent is lit with many strands of garden lights. The gazebo has a crystal chandelier, and can be used for the wedding ceremony, as a bar, or both. There is an elegant bridal cottage, decorated in bride! It is large enough and has enough mirrors for all the bridesmaids and the bride to take advantage of for doing hair, makeup, and nails. The morning of your special day, there will be mimosas, bagels, and cream cheese waiting for you on the counter. There is also a groom’s cabin for the guys to get ready in.
Down by the river you will find a fire pit with benches. If the mood strikes, you are welcome to use it. The wood is stacked nearby waiting for your use. Perhaps you have a friend with a guitar to provide you with some entertainment. We want your special day to be memorable and we strive to accomplish this goal.
The parking lot has plenty of room for a wedding of 300, and it is well lit for your safety. There is a golf cart and parking attendants for anyone that would like to be shuttled to the ceremony or reception site. Restrooms are provided on the grounds and there is a large playhouse and swing set to keep the children entertained.
